Chief mechanic Industry & Infrastructure - 40 hours - mbo

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Chief Mechanic Industrial & Infrastructure for the Kolham location. As a Chief Mechanic Industry & Infrastructure, you prepare the execution of the work and manage 10-25 employees, who work in a distributed manner.

The Industry & Infrastructure business unit is active in the Industry & Infrastructure market segment, among other things, with electrical engineering solutions. The business unit takes care of the entire process from advice, engineering (hardware & software), purchasing, panel construction, implementation, test & inspection to maintenance. The business unit has specific expertise in the field of process automation, medium voltage and predictive maintenance. Offering the most suitable solutions for the customer (both in terms of technology and price) is essential.

What can you expect from us?

What is expected of you?

• Preparing the work to be carried out;
• Manage 10-25 employees (depending on the project), who work in a distributed manner;
• Guiding and instructing employees;
• Making detailed plans and drawings;
• Developing technical specifications or changes, or discussing them with the work planner and/or project leaders;
• Installing (parts of large) electrical (strong, low-current, control, measuring and regulating, security, alarm, signaling and other specialist) installations and, if necessary, making changes;
• Preparing commissioning, carrying out tests and, if necessary, also carrying out commissioning yourself;
• Perform various administrative and registering tasks;
• Liaising with customers and possibly subcontractors.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed MBO level 4 education in Electrical Engineering;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;
• Experience with medium voltage installations. This is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel;
• Able to work well in a team, but also independently;
• Good communication, commercial and organizational skills;
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written.
